Craziest Thing I Have Ever Done

So, the craziest thing I have ever done, huh? Well, I mean, I've done a ton. Like pulling an all-nighter before a really big piano competition (which I actually went on to do well in...), or maybe randomly buying a sewing machine two days ago. It was a complete impulse buy, but I'm pretty jazzed about it. There weren't exactly consequences, other than the fact that I now need to go buy more stuff to make stuff, and it wasn't something I was able to get "caught" in, but I definitely think it was worth it. Huzzah for impulsiveness!

Hey everybody!

I'm sorry it's been forever since I posted over here. My blog (s) have been terribly neglected, but I"m working on it. Right now, I wanted to let everyone who was actually reading this know that I am entering into this giveaway for a free book: Angelfire by Courtney Allison Moulton. You should do it too!

The Man in the Moon

The Man in the Moon
Smiles down on lovers
Looks at them with a caring eye,
Much like a father,
But why?
Am I the only one
Who sees the false joy,
Plastered on his face
And covering his real feelings?
A lot like me and
My inner thoughts,
Complicated as lace
The Man in the Moon
Looks down on couples
With a loving smile
Much like a good friend,
Yet somehow, still hostile.
Am I the only one
Who notices untrue care
Like a mask on his face
Keeping his true thoughts secret?
A lot like my interior
Covered by it,
A mask in its right place

[Untitled]

Well, I wrote this one about a month.5 ago, and I thought it was pretty good.

how do i respond,
what should i say
when she comes to me
with that sad look in her eye?
her face tells all,
she wants him to stay.

but what did she do
when i was asking
her the same question?
nothing.
I was just left
up in the air
while they waltzed away

so what do i do
when he leaves her there
drops her out of his life
and just keeps walking?
do i build up a wall
from emotions and tears
that shuts her out?
no.
that's not okay
I won't leave her
to fall from his side
because only i
really know
how far it is to drop
and how much it hurts
when you
land.
